| Portal Prodigy, Inc. Adds "Request a Quote" to Pricing Options for Online Catalogs
Robbinsville, NJ – January 15, 2007 - Brock Miller. CTO of Portal Prodigy, Inc. announced today that, Newly added Product Catalog pricing options now allow our client websites to display a “Request Quote” option in lieu of a price." Mr. Miller further indicated that the new option permits clients' customers to add items to their shopping cart and upon checkout they are presented with an RFQ page to submit all their items with “Request Quote”. The customer can add additional information and once submitted they can track their RFQ online. PortalProdigy also provides an option to allow customers to submit bids.
The PortalProdigy Request for Quote feature permits customers to submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) online. Specified members of a client's sales team receive automated email notification of each pending RFQ. They can view the RFQ online, lookup items to verify pricing and inventory availability, quote a price for each item, and have PortalProdigy automatically send the quote to the customer.
