Create a Member Directory, Yellow Pages or White Pages
- Read the chapter titled “Directories Feature in Detail” in
the Administration Manual.
- Click on Directories add icon on Site Administration Menu.
- Enter directory name into Directory Name Field.
- Select fields to display in the directory. Don’t confuse
this with profile page. Select a limited number of so that the columns do
not extend beyond the left side of a visitors browser window.
- Check Contact Type, Special Interest and Security boxes to
configure filter.
Contacts can be filtered by Contact
Type, Special Interest Group, or Security Group. Selecting down a column
affects an “OR” search while selecting across columns affects an “AND” search.
- Set privacy status of directory.
- Check Include Hyperlink to Profile Box - Checking the
Include Hyperlink to Profile Box configures the directory table to have a
View Profile link.
- Click the Edit Profile Page link.
- On the Contact Profile configure what data will be
displayed on the profile page viewed by visitors to the directory by
checking desired boxes.
- Click on a feature’s Title Box to causes a link to be
displayed on the directory profile page. Clicking on the Private Box sets
the requirement that a visitor be a member of a permitted Security Group
and logged on in order to access the link. Highlighting one or more
Security Group titles in the Security Group Selection Box determines which
contacts can access.
- Click the Close button on Contact Profile Management Page
and affirm save request.
- Click Save button on Directory Management page.
