According to Mr. Miller,  the new feature permits non-programmers to quickly perform tasks that traditionally required programming. Using Page Manger, non-technical users can quickly customize the style and content of a pages’ header, footer, side bars, menus, and main content section. Changes can be instantly published or saved for later activation. Page Manager includes an inheritance feature that eliminates the need to configure settings for each page. You only need to use Page Manager when you want to change something on a specific page or group of pages. E.g. you can use Page Manager to display different header graphics for various sections of your website such as Event pages, Product Catalog pages, Help Desk pages, etc; you can define different menu options for different sections; you can define different side bar content for specific products; and so on.
