Create and Update a Discussion Group

 

  1. Read the chapter titled “Discussion Features in Detail” in the Administration Manual.

 

  1. Click on the features edit icon on the Site Administration Menu.

 

  1. Click on Discussions Link on Features Management page.

 

  1. Click on Discussion Groups Management Link

 

  1. On Discussion Groups Management page click on a Discussion Group name to update OR click on Add New Group link.

 

  1. Enter title of Group into Title field

 

  1. Enter content into Description field. This displays as introduction to Group’s Discussion page and can be artistic.

 

  1. Active = Yes

 

  1. Select level if you are using multi-site synchronization.

 

  1. Private = Yes

 

  1. Set privacy filters

 

  1. Close Discussion Groups Management page.

 

  1. Click on Save button.
